Massachusetts Muffin Memories

“WF,” a reader and real-life cookie taster, was one of the first to sample my Blueberry Muffin Top Cookies this morning. This is what she had to say:

“LOVE the cookie--so light and delicious and yum! And as a fellow Mass-hole, I totally thought, "Jordan Marsh muffins!" the second I laid eyes on these beauties. Thanks for the nostalgic flashback.”

Thanks, WF! You said they reminded you of the tops of the famous Jordan Marsh blueberry muffins before you even got a chance to read my blog this morning. How funny is that!

Boy oh boy did this bring back memories of Xmas shopping in Downtown Crossing in Boston. I miss Jordan Marsh--and Filene's and they're "rivalry."

Hi, Lynne. Ahhh...that really *does* bring back memories. Jordan Marsh and Filene's were bought my Macy's. (Don't even get Mumma started on Macy's...)

I was in Downtown Crossing in October, and both stores were closed. It was kind of sad.
