I missed a lot on your blog the last two days that I've been away and haven't had internet access! I'm eagerly awaiting the results of this experiment! Do you think that the quantity of the dough (ie.1/4 recipe batch) has any bearing on the results?

Can't wait to see the results! Sounds like a fun experiment. I would think it would be really hard to tell though.

Hi, Lorraine. I hope you had a nice time being "unplugged." (And thanks again for picking up that lavender extract!)
I think reducing the recipe down to 1/4 did have a slight effect on the overall taste of the cookies. (Splitting an egg in half is a bit of a challenge.)
For truly scientific results, I probably should have used full batches, but I just could not have a gross (12 dozen) of cookies around the house! Agh!!!

Hi, Laurel. Thanks for keeping track of my experiment. The differences among the batches were subtle, but I *did* have a favorite.
