We're an awesome team! I was thinking that your golden girls cookie would taste could as a dark chocolate cookie w/an orange cream cheese filling or a mint filling. Going to see what I can do with that. I'll let you know. Thank you so much for the love, Greg! You Rock!

Oatmeal Cookie Guy

Thanks, Alicia! Those variations on my Golden Girls sound good. Once you've got the stuffing technique down, you'll be coming up with all sorts of flavor combinations. :-)

Alicia

I've got the flavor combinations. Just need to work on putting it into reality.

Oatmeal Cookie Guy

I hear you! :-)

Alicia

Have you thought about filling the Golden Girls with Caramel?

Oatmeal Cookie Guy

Caramel's a difficult ingredient to use for stuffing. If the caramel is too liquid (for example, jarred caramel sauce), it will get absorbed into the cookie. If the caramel is too hard (for example, Sugar Daddies candy), it will get really, really crunchy in the cookie. But I think I have a trick. I'll do a "query" post on this...I promise!

Alicia

I was thinking along the lines of the Rolos you used. Or refrigerating Kraft caramels.

Oatmeal Cookie Guy

:-) You took the words right out of my mouth! I was going to suggest trying Rolos...or any other caramel candy that stays smoothly semisolid at room temp.
