This Thanksgiving, give thanks to the people who give color and flavor to your communities. Support your local bakers, butchers, and turkey farmers. Even Mumma's getting in on the act by bringing gravy from Bongi's Turkey Roost with her on the train down from Massachusetts.
We stopped by Lafayette French Pastry for some hot cocoa and pastries to top off our walk Sunday afternoon. We also ordered a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. Lafayette is a Greenwich Village institution that's been around forever. We're glad to support the folks at Lafayette and the other small businesses that make our neighborhood what it is.
