Eeeek...T-minus 16 10 days and counting until T-day! But who's counting?
I'm probably a little ahead of all you turkey pros on scheduling and thinking about this year's Thanksgiving meal because this is the first time I'll be hosting and cooking. (What did I get myself into!?) To help make this holiday as headache- and hassle-free as possible, here's a mini-list of some cookies to consider for Thanksgiving. I'll add new recipes to this mini-list as we get closer to turkey day.
Mulled Apple Cider Cookies
Apple Jack Cookies
Redheads
Cranberry Crunch Cookies (an award-winning recipe!)
Cranberry in the Coconut Cookies
Pumpkin & Chocolate Chip Cookies
Pumpkin Cheesecake Cookies
XXX Cranberry Cookies

Okay, OCG, I gotta make the XXX Cranberry Cookies. They look so good, and no chocolate even.
Been to NYC again now and toured as many bakeries as I could in a day and a half. We'll disagree here, but Levain's ARE my favorite. JT is second, then I tried Eleni's, pretty good, well, maybe third. Tried Bouchon, City, Ruthy's, Au Bon Pain, hmm, is that all? Still have to say, Levain for me. But I've gotta get some fresh cranberries and will be trying these cookies! ;) Thanks for all your cookie tour info a few months ago!

Hi, Katrina. I'm so glad you had a nice time in NYC. Did you get down to Doughnut Plant? You've GOT to go! We'll just have to agree to disagree about Levain's cookies. I still haven't tried Jacque Torres. Maybe this weekend!
