Eeeek...T-minus 16 10 4 days and counting until T-day! But who's counting?
I'm probably a little ahead of all you turkey pros on scheduling and thinking about this year's Thanksgiving meal because this is the first time I'll be hosting and cooking. (What did I get myself into!?) To help make this holiday as headache- and hassle-free as possible, here's a mini-list of some cookies to consider for Thanksgiving.
Mulled Apple Cider Cookies
Apple Jack Cookies
Redheads
Cranberry Crunch Cookies (an award-winning recipe!)
Cranberry in the Coconut Cookies
Pumpkin & Chocolate Chip Cookies
Pumpkin Cheesecake Cookies
XXX Cranberry Cookies
And to get a little bit ahead in my planning, I made my XXX Cranberry Cookies last night and put them in the freezer. This recipe freezes and thaws really well, so I have no worries that these guys will taste great on Thursday.
Just bake, cool, bag, and toss in the freezer. Bing, bam, boom. Then move on to the next thing you can make ahead. For me, that's a few more batches of cookies, an eggplant parmesan, and an apple pie.
If you spread out the work and use your freezer, your time in the kitchen on Thursday will be a lot more manageable.

your cookies are beautiful!!! pumpkin cheesecake cookies sound too good to be true. hope you have a nice thanksgiving!! i'm sure your guests will be in heaven!
