delicious chocolates and wine? Well, gee, I can't complain about that!
Fellow Grub Clubber In-Young went home to California and brought back some See's chocolates and a bottle of wine from Napa. Thanks, In-Young!
I polished off the chocolates after we watched the finale of Top Chef last night. (Poor Carla!) And I'm sure Jon will have at the wine soon.
Better yet...we'll hold off on the wine and serve it with the eggplant parm dinner I promised.

What did you think of Hosea being the winner? He was more likable then Stefan, but was he really better?

Hi, Lorraine. I really, really wanted Carla to win. But I figured that it would probably be Stefan. I really didn't like Hosea, or "Nosea," as Pam and I called him. I was surprised that he stayed in all the way to the end. I figured Jamie would have had Hosea's spot in the final 3.

If Carla stuck to "her own" food and made one of her great desserts, she might have won. Reminder to us all not to bend to external influences when it's important to hold on to what we know to be true!

Hi, Lorraine. I totally agree!
