For this weekend's edition of Grub Club, Pam and I took in a double feature of Gold Diggers of 1933 and Footlight Parade as part of the Breadlines & Champagne series of Depression-era movies at the Film Forum. There's nothing like a few ditzy comedies about a bad economy to keep you smiling.
Then we met up with Jon at Ditch Plains for some post-movie eats.
1) Combo plate: a "sloppy dog" topped with sloppy joe meat and a "ditch dog" topped with mac 'n cheese. 2) Macaroni 'n cheese. 3) Rice Krispies treats.

These look so-o-o yummy BUT......they are also calorie, cholesterol-laden heart attacks on a plate!!! Why is it that all the good tasting stuff is so bad for you??

Hi, Mumma. Yes...this is only an occasional treat. More often than once every other month or so would be very, very unhealthy. :-)
