I think some people declared that they liked it more than the actual Samoas! Definitely everyone who tried it loved them, and I got many requests for the recipe. I think people liked the chewy oatmeal component to it that isn't present in the real Samoas.
Favorite feedback I got: "What did you put in these things? They're like girl scout cookies on crack!"
Wow. Thanks, DPLK! These cookies are good, but the Girl Scouts are very, very steep competition. I tore through my two boxes of genuine Samoas in no time!
