I was requested by a friend to bake for her party which was yesterday. I made your oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and before I mixed the dry with the wet I realized that I measured the oatmeal AFTER it was ground! Instead of throwing away all those good ingredients, I added another egg, more milk, sugar and butter and held my breath. The cookies came out great and were the hit of the party!!

Hi, Lorraine. You did it the right way--measuring the oats *after* you grind them. :-) So glad you thought of using one of my recipes and that they were a hit.

Oops - so I didn't have to alter the recipe after all. It must be a credit to your recipe that even after my additions the cookies came out fabulous!
