Here's the recipe for my Peanut Butter-Stuffed Cookies in process.
Combine the filling ingredients and then place in the freezer to firm up.
Cream the creamables: butter, dark brown sugar, and Nutella.
Combine the wet ingredients: an egg, vanilla, almond extract, and milk
Add the wet ingredients to the combined creamables. Mix.
Combine the dry ingredients and add to the combined wet ingredients and creamables. Mix.
Refrigerate the dough. Then scoop.
Stuff the cookies. Split the dough balls in half, forming two disks. Drop a teaspoon of the filling mixture on one of the disks. Put the disks back together and roll to reform the dough balls. Refrigerate the stuffed dough balls.
Bake, split open to admire your handiwork, pour yourself a tall glass of milk, and enjoy!
