Last Sunday, I volunteered to bring some tasty niblets in to church for coffee hour.
I know...most people who know me probably have two reactions to that statement: 1) "Well duh...you're the Oatmeal Cookie Guy" and 2) "Church?" But I digress.
It seemed like a no-brainer to whip up a batch of my Coffee Cake Cookies for coffee hour. After all, these guys are proven crowd pleasers, and I knew I couldn't go wrong.
I'm always trying to come up with a new recipe or a twist on an old recipe when I bake. At first, I was going to do a walnutty version, but decided against that because you never know who might have a nut allergy. But stay tuned. A walnut version is coming soon!
