On Saturday in Ogunquit, we headed to Bintliff's for breakfast. The wait was long, but the food was good. And, perhaps best of all, I came away with some potential cookie flavors. Yay!
I got the orange-graham French toast (pictured at left). Crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside: the perfect texture for French toast--and cookies. The toast was coated in earthy/spicy graham cracker crumbs and cinnamon. And the rich tangy/sweet orange reduction sauce drizzled around the plate was refreshing and bright, making the maple syrup unnecessary.
I can taste it already: a graham and cinnamon oatmeal cookie topped with an orange icing. Simply delicious.
I'll make sure to add this to the next edition of The List.

This orange-graham French toast looks delicious !
I wouldn't mind having some... :)
