Here's the recipe for my Cranberry, Lime, and Walnut Cookies in process.
Enplumpen the craisins with lime tea and fresh lime juice.
Stew the halved fresh cranberries, white sugar, milk, vanilla, and lime juice, extract, and zest.
Cream the creamables: butter and dark brown sugar.
Add the cooled, stewed fruit to the creamed creambles. Mix.
Strain the enplumpened craisins and combine the dry ingredients.
Add the dry ingredients to the combined stewed fruit and creamables. Mix. Then refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes to firm up a bit.
Scoop, smoosh the dough balls a little, and bake. Sweet/tart, chewy/crunchy, bright/rich: made for autumn.
