Here's the recipe for my Maple, Walnut, and Raisin Cookies in process.
Toast the the walnuts and set aside to cool until you combine the dry ingredients.
Cream the creamables: butter and dark brown sugar.
Combine the wet ingredients: an egg, vanilla, maple syrup, and maple extract/flavoring.
Add wet ingredients to the creamables. Mix.
Combine the dry ingredients, including the toasted walnuts, add them to the combined wet ingredients and creamables. Mix.
Scoop the cookies onto the cookie sheet. Flatten each dough ball a little.
Drizzle with maple syrup and bake. Sweet and earthy, crunchy and chewy. Yummy-licious!
