Here's the recipe for my Royal Wedding Cookies in process.
Emplumpen the figs, raisins, craisins, and citron in hot water, brandy and orange juice.
Cream the creamables: butter and white and dark brown sugar.
Combine the wet ingredients: an egg, vanilla, brandy, orange juice, and orange zest.
Add wet ingredients to the creamables. Mix.
Strain the emplumpened fruit. Grind the oatmeal. Remember to grind first, then measure.
Combine the dry ingredients and add them to the combined wet ingredients and creamables. Mix.
Scoop and bake. Spicy, fruity, chewy, and crunchy. Perfectly fit for a nice cuppa--remember, pinkies out--or a king...er, um...prince.
