I couldn’t help it. I have to go all Barbara Walters on you…
Even though I’m developing as many unique and--most important--tasty oatmeal cookie recipes as I possibly can, when comes right down to it, I’m just a simple oatmeal cookie guy (OCG) who likes to try on some new flavors for size.
At bottom, I’m probably a chocolate chip cookie. But sometimes I can be a Golden Girl or a XXX Cranberry. (I am from Carver, the onetime cranberry capital of the world, after all!)
What kind of cookie would you be?
I'd be a s'more.

After reading the receipe for the Pina Colada cookie, THAT'S what I would be!!!

I am a girl of many cookies. When it comes to basic taste, I'd be a "coffee cake" or a "plain Jane." For my "fantasy" cookie, make me "spice girl." If we're talking home town cookie, it would have to be a "Long Island ice tea!"

Jonnazz: You are definitely a s'more.
Mumma: I thought for sure you'd say "The Elvis," but then I remembered how much you hate bananas!
Lorraine: I'm still working on the "Plain Jane" cookie. I guess it would be the equivalent of an "Old Fashioned" doughnut. (I think that's what Dunkin' Dougnuts calls them.) Just a very simple, "clean" cookie with no frills or powdered sugar. Funnily enough, I did have a "Spice Girl" cookie but renamed it "Hot(ter) Chocolate."

Maybe "Spice Girl" could be an oatmeal version of a gingerbread cookie. Do you already have one like that?

Jonnazz - you're a s'more from your old camping days - remember your wilderness training? Fig newtons were your survival then!

We've got a ginger-lime cookie, but not straight ginger. That's something to think about--an oatmeal ginger snap!

That sounds delish! Could it be crunchy?

I work in Greg's office and his pina colada cookies have been my primary source of nutrition for the past two days. But that's nothing new when his cookies are around.

Sure, Lorraine. I'll make it a crunchy one.

I'd have to say the PB&J ones were most "me"!! So good!

Thanks, ALR! :^) Those *were* really good. Maybe I'll post that recipe tonight.
