To celebrate In-Young's return to NYC and the finale of Top Chef (poor Carla!), the Grub Club convened at Crispo for some pre-Bravo TV vittles.
I think I like the little nibbles/tapas at Crispo even better than the main dishes. 1) Hot peppers stuffed with meat and cheese (my personal favorite). 2) Assorted olives. 3) Arancini, or fried risotto balls, and bruschetta with cheese and roasted peppers.
1) Jon's carbonara, with the soft-poached egg and everything. 2) My tortellini en brodo. Growing up, tortellini in chicken broth was one of my favorite foods. (My family and I call tortellini tootalings.) 3) In-Young's spaghetti and meatballs. 3) Pam's octopus salad.
