Here's the recipe for my Copycat Momofuku Compost Cookies in process.
Cream the creamables: butter, dark brown sugar, white sugar, and used coffee grounds. I included the coffee grounds only because they're in the original Momofuku cookie. They add more of a novelty factor than real flavor, so feel free to leave them out.
Combine the wet ingredients and add them to the creamables. Egg and vanilla. Pretty simple, right?
Combine the dry ingredients and add them to the combined wet ingredients and creamables. Mix again. Feel free to swap out my ingredients for an equal amount of something else. If you like Bugles better than Fritos, use those instead. If you like butterscotch chips better than peanut butter chips, use those instead.
Scoop and bake. These guys hit all the right sweet, salty, crispy notes. So good!
Looks delicious! Can't wait to try this.
Just to let you know, though, it's "Momofuku," not "Momofuko."

Hi, Emily. D'oh! Thanks for catching that misspelling. I've corrected it globally. (How'd I miss that? The sign was right there in a couple earlier posts...)
Good luck with the recipe! :-)

Hi CookieGuy,
I finally made my first batch of cookies and these were it. My wife and I had a wonderful time making them and they turned out delicious. Thanks again for such a great and unique recipe, we can't wait to tackle the next one.

Hi Greg. Thanks for this awesome post. I ended up combining yours and the Tosi recipe for my cookies. They turned out great and were a huge hit with my friends. I put in fresh coffee grounds instead and they gave it a deeper flavor - which I'll be using again.
