On Friday night, my friend Katie, who was in town for the weekend, and I went out to Tue for some tasty Thai food. After a day of walking all over the city, this is just what the doctor ordered.
1) Crab Rangoon. And I thought you could only get these guys at Chinese restaurants on the South Shore of Massachusetts. These weren't as cream cheesy as the ones I know and love from home, but they were pretty good. Dense and savory and with just a hint of crunch from some celery or maybe even water chestnuts. Katie said they tasted a little bit like Thanksgiving stuffing. I have to agree. And I loved the sweet/spicy dippin' sauce. 2) Fried tofu. Deep fry anything, and I'm all over it. Crispy stuff + spicy peanut dippin' sauce = yummy. 3) Pad Thai--Katie's favorite. 4) Stir fried chicken and noodles.
