Picturing XXX Blueberry Cookies

Here's the recipe for my XXX Blueberry Cookies in process.

Combine the wet ingredients. Cook the blueberries, milk, lemon juice, lemon zest, vanilla, and sugar over medium high heat. Smoosh everything around until it forms a purplish pulp.

Cream the creamables. Butter and dark brown sugar.

Add the wet ingredients to the creamables.

Silly me! I forgot to take pictures of these two steps, so I used those "scene missing" stills from the video for "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails. Combine the dry ingredients--including the sliced fresh blueberries--and add to the combined creamables and wet ingredients. Mix.

Scoop and sugar the cookies.

Smoosh the sugared dough balls a little before baking. These guys are like a little bite of of blueberry pie!

Hi there,

I've broken down and am making drop cookies (vs. bar cookies, if you remember) for my daughter's bake sale to raise money for the Gulf cleanup. If you need any inspiration for a new oatmeal cookie, may I point you in the direction of the Chocolate Volcano Oatmeal cookie?
